EMPHASYS™ Dual Mobility is a modular system comprised of a metal Dual Mobility Liner and a polyethylene Mobile Bearing Head which articulates with a femoral head with the aim to reduce the potential of dislocation.1

Optimized Internal Geometry
The EMPHASYS™ Dual Mobility Liner is designed with optimized internal geometry to achieve a market-leading head to shell differential of +10.1 A surgeon can use a 28mm femoral head with a poly bearing in a 48mm shell.
180-Degree Elevated Rim
The EMPHASYS™ Dual Mobility Liner contains a 180-degree elevated rim at a height of 3 mm designed to increase jump distance prior to dislocation and minimize opportunity for impingement on the opposite edge. The side opposite the elevated rim sits flush for visual confirmation of seating.1
AOX™ Antioxidant Polyethylene
The EMPHASYS™ Mobile Bearing Head uses AOX™ Antioxidant Polyethylene, a fourth-generation polyethylene designed to deliver long-term oxidative stability and improved wear resistance.1,2
